The Erdős Institute is a multi-university collaboration founded by a team of faculty, graduate students, and PhD alumni dedicated to helping doctoral students secure fulfilling jobs at various career stages. The institute offers a wide variety of programming, including bootcamps, courses and certifications, career coaching and exploration seminars, application and interview preparation, job postings, and more. Programming is offered in cohorts, three times per year, and runs entirely online using both pre-recorded and live lectures. The Erdős Institute offers programming discounts to a number of partnering academic institutions and offers a basic membership level with introductory resources free of charge. To date, the institute has supported a diverse academic community of over 4,000 graduate students, postdocs, and PhD alumni.
The National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD) is a leading provider of professional development in higher education committed to supporting faculty members, postdocs, and graduate students in developing their academic careers. The NCFDD works with more than 340 colleges and universities and thousands of individuals in schools nationwide, providing on-demand access to mentoring, tools, and support to foster success in the Academy. The NCFDD focuses on four key areas designed to help achieve extraordinary writing and research productivity while maintaining a full and healthy life off campus: strategic planning, explosive productivity, healthy relationships, and work-life balance.
ImaginePhD is a free online career exploration and planning tool for PhD students and postdoctoral scholars in the humanities and social sciences, committed to helping bridge the knowledge gap between doctoral education and the realm of career possibilities. ImaginePhD allows users to: assess their career-related skills, interests, and values, explore career paths appropriate to their disciplines, create self-defined goals, and map out next steps for career and professional development success. ImaginePhD provides resources for 15 work categories or "job families" designed strategically for scholars in the humanities and social sciences. For each category, the site provides a description of associated careers, as well as resources for career exploration, developing relevant job skills, networking, and applying.
Egale is a Canadian organization dedicated to improving the lives of 2SLGBTQI people in Canada and enhancing the global response to 2SLGBTQI issues. The organization informs public policy, inspires cultural change, and promotes human rights and inclusion through research, education, awareness, and legal advocacy. Egale's legal work, spanning generations, has supported many Canadian landmark 2SLGBTQI legal decisions, including the Supreme Court's recognition of sexual orientation as a protected status under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in 1995 and the 2003 Ontario Appeal Court's striking down of the discriminatory common law definition of marriage. Egale offers a variety of informative resources, awareness campaigns, and school and workplace inclusivity training. Egale also publishes numerous advocacy statements and partners with academic institutions in research, advocacy work, and socio-legal intervention.

Bill 7 Award
Provides post-secondary education scholarships to 2 Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer (2SLGBTQI+) students with demonstrated financial need who are pursuing a first degree, diploma or certification in any Ontario post-secondary institution.
Dalla Lana 2S/LGBTQ+ Health Hub Fellowship
The 2S/LGBTQ+ Health Hub is a collaboration between 50+ community leaders, scholars, researchers, and healthcare providers from across Canada working together to build a national platform offering training, mentorship, networking, and capacity-building to emerging leaders in 2S/LGBTQ+ health and research. The program offers a funded, annual fellowship program that provides education and mentoring to academic, community, and professional trainees.
Lambda Scholarship Foundation
Advances ARTS, Social Sciences, and STEM research to support Two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning (2SLGBTQ+), and queer, trans, Black, Indigenous, and people of colour (QTBIPOC) communities. Provides institutional scholarships and awards that recognize outstanding achievement and create enriching experiences for post-secondary 2SLGBTQ+ & QTBIPOC academics across Canada.
Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies
Offers a variety of funded fellowship and residency positions for artists, community leaders, activists, students, faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and other scholars and community members interested in exploring, analyzing, and challenging the ways that sexuality shapes people’s lives.
Tegan and Sara Foundation
Provides microgrants to community-led 2SLGBTQ+ organizations in the US and Canada to funnel support to those who need it most and create a capacity-building network of organizations whose work is often missed. Funding is dedicated to Black-led organizations, trans youth-serving organizations, organizations serving 2SLGBTQ+ survivors of intimate partner violence, and a variety of other community-focused work.
